We have a few things we are working on for 2010. First the 10 new fire plugs are going out for bid now and hopefully will be started on by the first of spring.Next we are working with Talladega County EMA on a Weather siren to be placed at the fire station next year.Also we may have some good new hopefully on getting a new fire tanker truck after the first of the year. If we get a grant for the new truck we will need your support to help with the matching part of the truck .The cost of the truck will be about $200,000.00 and the matching part is about $16,000.00 for the department. this truck will carry 3000 gallons of water and will replace two older trucks we have now.
